On October 9, 2023, after the lively and cheerful National Holiday, the sixth graders of HBBSS had their another assembly, which Teacher Limin, the leader of sixth grade conducted. The meeting lasted for 40 minutes, and contained two parts: The introduction to the schedule of recent events and the award ceremony to our Monthly Stars.

First, Teacher Li restated the new expectations, which include Quizlet, Daily Topic, and Math Brainstorm. To all six graders, all these new events are all challenges, improvements as well, including passion in participating and abilities to be independent. Under the high pressure of school work, two six graders could bear the strain, meanwhile established after-school clubs, which grabbed many students’ attention. It was a great new start of achievements.

During the first few weeks of middle school, some students already gained high achievements. They behaved not only in Chinese, English (both C-side and E-side) and Math. But also realized their capabilities among full ranges. Based on such observations, teachers from G6 honored Monthly Stars, Daily Topic Stars, Brainstorm Stars, Art and Sport Stars and Reading Stars with certificates. Students who live in the dormitory also achieved the Best Dormitory award. Moreover, teachers encourage every sixth grader not to be frustrated. Instead, all of them will be supported.

At last, Teacher Li noticed us about the upcoming events, which include the Charity Fair at October 13, the MAP Reading test at Week 8, and the preliminary ESDP Competition.

As the assembly came to an end, Teacher Limin encouraged us to maintain noble character, positive attitude, and solid knowledge to achieve outstanding grades, and start a new chapter.
